Hello my name is Chuck Jones and I'm an avid woodturning hobbyist. If any of my work appears artistic it is purely accidental since I make no claim of being an artist. I work with wood purely for the enjoyment. After 45 years working as a computer software developer and IT executive I am quite happy to kick back and do something vastly different from the working routine. I also do some regular "flat work" projects, but not as much since I discovered the lathe. I have owned a Wood-Mizer LT-40 sawmill since 2000 and love to salvage distressed or damaged trees, both for my own use and for friends and neighbors.
